Our take
The 49-inch super ultrawide is absolutely immersive for racing and flight sims. The 144Hz refresh and 3000:1 contrast ratio make visuals pop. However, note the 'slight damage'—in my unit, there's a faint scratch on the bezel, but picture is unaffected. The 3840x1080 resolution is essentially two 1080p screens side-by-side, so desktop space is generous. The VA panel has good blacks, but viewing angles could be better. At $225, it's a gamble if the damage bothers you, but for a functional ultrawide with these specs, it's a unique deal.
